📍 Itinerary of the day

  • Pickup from your hotel in Puerto Madryn
  • Arrival at El Doradillo Beach – beginning of the sighting
  • Observation of:
    • Southern right whales: mothers with young, flapping wings, tail slapping (lobtailing)
    • Unique behavior: Until 30-40 days, the calves do not float and their mothers hold them with their flippers near the coast.
    • Steep slope: allows whales to come within a few meters of the shore
  • Start of the return to Puerto Madryn
  • Arrival at your hotel
