The Peninsula Valdés Protected Natural Area was officially declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. Located on the Patagonian coast, it is a globally important marine mammal conservation site. This territory is home to significant breeding populations of right whales, elephant whales, and sea lions.

Itinerary
*Departure from the port – Our team will meet you at the Puerto Madryn cruise terminal to begin your journey to Peninsula Valdés.
*Carlos Ameghino Interpretation Center – First stop in this informative space where we will learn about the geology, fauna, and flora of the region.
*Bird Island Sighting – From a privileged vantage point, we will observe a wide variety of seabirds in their natural habitat.
*Caleta Valdés – We'll walk along interpretive trails to the entrance of this cove, home to elephant seals and Magellanic penguins.
*Punta Cantor – We'll visit this impressive vantage point to observe the majestic elephant seals resting on the shore up close.
*Return to Puerto Madryn – Once in the city, you'll enjoy free time to explore downtown, shop, or connect to the internet before returning to your cruise ship.

IMPORTANT
*Pickup will be at the port entrance (once you disembark and arrive at the entrance, we will be waiting there holding a sign with your first and last name).
*Please note that it is approximately an 8-block walk from the cruise ship docking to the port exit, and there is a free shuttle bus service that runs frequently to and from the port.
*Upon returning from the excursion, we will drop you off at the port entrance, subject to the cruise ship's arrival and departure times.
